What is the Structure of the Program?
Crucial Conversations is a 14-hour training program. It can be done over 2 days or over 7 weeks. For example, 2 consecutive Saturdays (7 hours each), or 2-hour mini sessions over 7 weeks. The program is evidence-based on more than 20 years of social scientific research. It is an effective mixture of theoretical and practical content. The course is packed with video dialogue examples and it has you practicing these new skills over and over. You will have a chance to meet some interesting people, as well as engage in material that is both intellectually stimulating and emotionally challenging. Trust me we will have a lot of laughs as we work through the challenges of the crucial conversations we are currently struggling with in our own lives. The theoretical premises and practical skills will get into your bones and by the time you graduate you will come away with brand new skills to help you get through difficult encounters with a lot more ease.
